Tribe member, Melissa, is starting a Teddy Bear Drive that will last until December 24th and the teddy bears are for bereavement baskets to the NICU that Calypso (her daughter) spent her life in.
Teddy bears, if you are buying over 5 at a time, get very expensive. So she is asking that if anybody runs across a nice cuddly well-priced teddy bear and have the money please consider purchasing it for her teddy drive.
She'd would be extremely happy if just 5 people purchased a $5 teddy. And she knows from personal experience the parents who recieve these bears will be EVER grateful for not having the leave the NICU with empty aching arms. (As a former NICU nurse, I know how true this is!)
